Welcome to Patrick Tremble Design!

Hi there! I’m Patrick Tremble, I’m an Interior and Set Designer, based in the Blue Mountains and Sydney region. 

When it comes to interior design, I believe that a person’s space is a major factor in their lives. Especially evident over the past 2 years, a space you can customise and call your own, however big or small, temporary or permanent, is so important to how we live and feel. To be able to have a space of our own, filled with the things that hold memories and emotion, to share with the ones we love, is a luxury to all of us, and is something that I love being a part of helping people achieve. To find what design elements make a client smile, and to curate pieces that they hold near and dear to them, or just pieces they already own, while bringing in new pieces that they will love and cherish for years to come, is the highlight of my job.

Set Design has always been a major interest of mine, with little 10 year old Patrick becoming obsessed with the backgrounds of movie and TV, and discovering the tricks and secrets to making everything come to life. Having finally delved into making my own sets a few years ago, I truly started to understand the process and development of the planning, making and operation of a set. With era-specific sets being one of my absolute favourites (namely the 50s, 60s and 80s), getting to pull in existing elements and custom pieces to create a world once forgotten is wonderfully neat, all while being able to rescue original elements of architecture and design that are starting to be cast aside and destroyed in our current world. I love being hands on with all stages of the planning, building and furnishing of a set, and taking ideas and running with them until they turn out perfectly suited to the job at hand.
