80s Music Video Photoshoot
A very quick photoshoot that I pulled together in just a few hours, inspired by a campy 80s horror movie scene from Marina’s Venus Fly Trap music video. Set dressing a small corner of the house with 80s pieces and quirky elements, I made sure to include key visual from the genre, like the portable TV with static and board games scattered throughout.
The neon lighting pulled everything together perfectly, with key lights placed mainly behind structural elements and from behind the camera to achieve a soft, unobtrusive visual. Fun details like the 80s coke bottle and construction barricade bring the look together. The outfit worn by me is inspired by the one that Marina wears in the video, bring a super casual 80s inspired fit, with some wear and tear to complete the look.
